Who this is for
Marketer or sales lead whose form asks only for an email, so reps cannot tell a large firm from a one-person shop.
Reps spend time looking up every new lead's company by hand before deciding who to call.
The result
For new leads with a business email domain, named company-level fields (industry band, size band, country, website) are written with a source and date, or marked "unknown". Free-mail addresses and person-level data are left untouched.
What is included
- One CRM and one form path
- Company-level fields only: industry band, size band, country, website
- Sources from your own data, the company's own public site or a provider you licence
- A source and a timestamp on every written value, or "unknown"
- A 50-domain labelled check and a synthetic-lead check
You receive
- The workflow and its rule sheet
- The labelled-sample results
- The synthetic-lead test results
- Steps to switch it off
What is not included
- Job titles, phone numbers or profiles of named people
- Scraping or buying person-level data
- Using LinkedIn as a source
- Overwriting an existing value
- A data-provider licence or its cost
What we need from you first
- The CRM, the form and which company fields you want
- Where company facts are written down today
- Roughly how many new leads a week
Never send passwords, keys, customer records or confidential code in the first enquiry. Secure handover is agreed after scoping.
How we check it is done
- On 50 past company domains labelled by your team and held back from us until the run, at least 35 get every named field written and right, at most 3 written values are wrong in total, and "unknown" counts as a miss, not as right. Every written value has a source and a timestamp. 35 of 50 shows a true rate of at least 57% with 95% confidence, so this is a smoke test of the rules, not a rate for future leads.
- On synthetic leads, a free-mail address is untouched and an existing value is not overwritten.
- No person-level field is written for any lead.
- A switch-off by your admin stops writes within one test cycle.
You re-run the test yourself, check the list of severe errors and sign off in writing. Payment follows sign-off.
When we would stop or decline
- You want named individuals' details scraped or bought
- Your provider licence does not allow the use
- Your two labellers disagree on more than 15% of the 50 domains
Questions
Where do the values come from?
Your own data, the company's own public site, or a provider you hold a licence for. Each value shows its source.
Will you look up named people?
No. Only company-level facts are in scope.
What if the company is not found?
The field says "unknown" and counts as a miss in the test, not as a wrong value.
How is this different from filling blank fields in my CRM?
The blank-field job proposes values for records you already hold, for you to tick. This one fills new leads as they arrive and writes a source on every value.
